i dunno wtf is going on.
i posted there the other day... and i don't
recall anyone mentioning the board being removed
or deleted.... or moved.
i'm somewhat disappointed however....
.... only somewhat.

I have no idea what happened. I hopd kaufman didn't delete the board. I just realized last night it was gone and I'm a little upset about taht too. Especialy considering there were at least two more people making posts.

from what you can tell, he only deleted the posts...
and all of the decor....
but for what motive???
i do think K. ran the place a little tight-assed...
especially when he had a problem with you typing
in different fonts and whatnot....
i chuckled when i read his
"surely this won't become a habit" post...
i will say (something i've thought for a while
but was too unsure to really make the statement)
that i found the board to be a bit stuffy...
that is, arrogant.
i can understand a certain level of seriousness
attached to the board and its content... but
there is no reason to take it THAT serious.
maybe i offended him with my response on the
god/no god thread.... as i was simply trying
to show his contradiction.... *shrugs*
oh well.... hopefully it will resurface.
i really enjoyed reading it.

I missed that thread. I'd love to get a summary if you don't mind bothering.
I expect to talk to him tonight and I definately want an explanation. That is...all I have to say for now.

i'm sure you saw the post... as it had been there
for a few days with a reply or two (can't remember)
but basically it was concerning the semantics
surrounding 'i believe' and/or 'i don't believe'.
ok, sure... it wasn't that blunt. nor was it
as simple as i made it out to be... but it was
concerning the particular stance (believer,
agnostic, atheist) and the application of that
stance in regards to the foundation of that
'belief' and blah blah blah *types more rhetoric*
anyways... i said something about:
"can't this also be applied to the 'what is a
philosopher?' thread?"
which i think i may have confused him... because
he asked for more information...
i dunno... it was a long-winded first post
and i interpreted it in 'my' way... so you never
can be sure.

OH! I remember that thread. Hmmm...he hasn't called me today. I hope at least, his explanation is interesting.
